Everybody talks about the inevitable Apple's iPhone so why not here?! A video worths a million words so here is a closer look at it (YouTube) as demonstrated by Phil Schiller during MWSF 2007.

This definitely will be my next phone when it will be available in Hong Kong!

Although Mac OS X Tiger's latest desktop do have significant advantages and features (like Exposé, Dashboard, etc...) over Microsuck Windoze’s ‘almost-no-feature’ desktop management solutions, it's still far from revolutionary if compared to the old desktop interfaces dated back to those early Macintosh ones.

Might these video demos from University of Toronto (BumpTop) and Novell (Xgl) give you some ideas on how it could be in the near future?
